DMARC is a free technical standard that allows to verify authenticity of incoming emails and, in this way, protect recipients from scam, spoofing and phishing.
DMARC is being implemented by publishing a special record in sender’s domain DNS, that contains a directive (policy) for the recipient side on how to handle incoming non-authenticated emails.
It also allows senders to enable statistical reporting on outbound emails authentication compliance.
